The activity was carried out for the first time in the country with the support of Flood Rescue School and Aerodiva Costa Rica. Flood Rescue and Operations Course: Safe Work in Helicopter.

Through an alliance of private companies led by Humanitarian Consultants, the activity was carried out. This process left 31 people trained under level 1 of knowledge to carry out operations in emergency situations that compromised the lives of Costa Ricans. Rescuers from various institutions attended the group.

Among the topics covered in the process were found: equipment to be used to carry out rescues from heights, safety measures at work inside and outside the helicopter, and recognition of the aircraft.

This course corresponds to the first stage of a three-level training process. These stages are known as Awareness or knowledge, operations, and technical.

This activity was carried out on Saturday the 18th at the facilities of the Tobías Bolaños International Airport, in the Aerodiva hangar.
